Philadelphia’s mask mandate goes into effect tonight at midnight.
Philadelphia’s Mayor announced a new mask mandate today that requires masks indoors at all Philadelphia businesses and institutions that do not require vaccination for employees and patrons. That means that for businesses and institutions that do not require everyone who enters to be vaccinated, everyone on site will be required to wear a mask, regardless of their individual vaccination status.
It has been confirmed the mandate applies to indoor construction, including unoccupied properties under construction. It does not apply to outdoor construction activities.
Philadelphia’s new mask mandate goes into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, August 12.
